Best Season to Travel:
Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your coastal hotel, followed by a drive inland to Tsavo East National Park. Enter through the Bachuma Gate and immediately begin your first game drive, spotting elephants, lions, zebras, and giraffes against the backdrop of Tsavo’s iconic red-earth plains.
Arrive at Voi Safari Lodge in time for lunch. Later, enjoy an afternoon game drive, visiting sites such as Aruba Dam, a key waterhole attracting abundant wildlife. As the sun sets, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay with sweeping views of the plains.
After breakfast, check out and enjoy a final game drive in Tsavo East before heading west toward Amboseli National Park, known as the “Land of Giants” for its impressive elephant herds. Arrive at Sentrim Amboseli Lodge for lunch, with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
In the afternoon, embark on a game drive across Amboseli’s open plains and wetlands, where elephants, buffalo, wildebeest, and hippos thrive. With luck, you may also spot predators like cheetahs and hyenas. End the day with a breathtaking Kilimanjaro sunset before dinner and overnight at camp.
